Warranty

Limited Warranty

Our limited warranty excludes components that come in contact with ink.
So that means the ink system, printhead and capping station are not covered.
Customer is responsible for to and from shipping charges to have the printer repaired by DTF2U in East Peoria, IL.
Must be sent in original packaging, DTF2U is not responsible for shipping damage due to poor packaging.
Customer may self install warranty parts, DTF2U is not responsible for damage caused during self repair.

 

Comprehensive Warranty

This covers the whole printer including printhead and ink system.
If you have errors, clogging or any other issue you may send the printer to DTF2U for repair back to working condition or customer can self install provided parts.
Customer is responsible for to and from shipping charges to have the printer repaired by DTF2U in East Peoria, IL.
Must be sent in original packaging, DTF2U not responsible for shipping damage due to poor packaging.

Comprehensive Warranty has a policy abuse limit. We won’t replace more than 3 printheads per year. Printhead Warranty voided if non DTF2U inks are used. Any printheads after 3 will be paid for by the customer.

All defective parts replaced under warranty must be shipped back to DTF2U at the customers expense. It is the customers responsibility to get the equipment back to DTF2U safely. Warranty does not cover damage in shipping due to poor packing.

This covers the whole printer including printhead and ink system for 6 months from the time it arrives to the customer.
If you have errors, clogging or any other issue you may send the printer to DTFsuperstore for repair back to working condition
or customer can self install provided parts.
Customer is responsible for to and from shipping charges to have the printer repaired by DTFsuperstore in Gilbert, AZ.
Must be sent in original packaging, DTF2U not responsible for shipping damage due to poor packaging.

Additional Terms and Notes for all Printer and Equipment Warranties:

  • Equipment must be returned for repair. We do not send out a replacement equipment unless we deem yours can’t be repaired by us. Replacement equipment will be either new or like new refurbished.
  • DTF2U does not provide a loaner printer during the repair and shipping time.
  • Customers that do not keep the shipping crate can purchase a new crate from us for $600 plus shipping.
  • Warranty and Support are valid for original purchaser only.
  • DTF2U is not responsible for any losses due to downtime.
  • Failure to return warranty replaced parts within 15 business days will result in customer being billed for the replacement part.
  • We have a DOA (Defective on Arrival) period of 10 business days starting when the customer receives the shipment. This means that if the product you purchased arrives damaged, missing parts or non working we will cover shipping to replace product or parts. After 10 business days the customer is responsible for shipping charge per warranty agreement.
  • It is the customers responsibility to get the equipment back to DTF2U safely. Warranty does not cover damage in shipping due to poor packing.
  • Equipment must be returned in original DTF2U crate. If not, customer will be charged for a new crate to return equipment to the customer.

Important Notes

  • Do not book any print jobs or sell any services until you’ve received your printer and have learned how to use it.
  • General understanding of a graphic programs like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Coreldraw is a must.
  • Basic computer skills are required. 
  • Printer must be used every 2-3 days to prevent clogging.
  • There is a software, hardware and process learning curve. Please allow yourself time and supplies to master it.
  • Dryer must be vented to the outside with exhaust fan. Fumes are harmful.
  • The dryer will not fit through a standard 34-36″ door.
  • Customer must keep shipping crate in case the printer needs send back for service.

Delivery Requirements (must have one of the following):

  • Shipping Dock (dock leveled to truck, to unload)
  • Fork Lift 
  • Able to pickup from terminal (using own vehicle; Truck or flat bed trailer suggested)
  • DO NOT book jobs before receiving and learning how to run the printer.

Preassembled

With this service your printer’s stand, printheads, and ink system are all assembled here by our technicians and then repackaged for freight shipment. When you receive the printer you will just have to attach the printer to the stand.
