Description
Digital pigment inks can maintain shelf stability for extended periods. However, over time, the pigments tend to separate from their suspended state, leading to potential issues like separation and stratification in the ink. This separation can result in a loss of pigment density in the top layer of the liquid, potentially impacting opacity and color consistency when transferred to the ink system. To prevent this, it’s advisable to use an agitator to thoroughly mix the inks before introducing them into the ink system, ensuring a uniform blend without any separation.
We advise all DTF and UV DTF customers to perform this mixing step with their inks before adding them to their ink systems.
